We love sharing good news and today we get to make an exciting announcement - CPL and Access Arts are joining forces!
This partnership will mean Access Arts becomes a wholly-owned subsidiary of CPL – Choice, Passion, Life. This will allow the Access Arts team to continue delivering their workshops, events and creative programs with the backing and support of CPL.
CPL’s CEO Rhys Kennedy said the agreement was an exciting opportunity for both organisations.
“This partnership will open up even more opportunities for people living with disability and disadvantage to participate in creative arts and be supported to turn their talent into a career,” he said.
“We have long been an admirer of Access Arts and the development pathways they provide. We share a vision for an inclusive and accessible community where the arts are celebrated.”
Access Arts is the leading arts organisation supporting artistic development of people experiencing disability or disadvantage in Queensland. They run a range of workshops to support participants to advance in the arts and pursue a career.
Their workshops specialise in:
- Performing Arts
- Visual Arts
- Professional Development
- Community Workshops
There will be no changes to existing Access Arts programs, with Access Arts Chief Executive, Pat Swell confirming the programs, brand and team will remain the same.
“We believe CPL is a great fit for us. By working together, we can ensure people living with disability or disadvantage can have the very best opportunities to pursue their creativity,” she said.
We can’t wait to see what we achieve by working together.
